The Retreat Center
This beautiful rural retreat is the design showcase of a noted professional Interior Designer as well as a noted Hill Country Architect. This secluded getaway combines a unique Texas style with the diverse cultural influences of the area in a serene, wooded setting with breathtaking panoramic views. Located on a hilltop overlooking 70 acres of combination pasture and heavily wooded land the retreat offers a natural refuge for the guests. Dramatic elevation changes as you approach the house from the county road. Numerous oak and other hardwoods and a seasonal pond create an excellent wildlife habitat. The old farmhouse and barn area have been transformed into the retreat center situated in a wild bird nature reserve. On property is a old stacked rock fence that still stands that was built by early settlers to the area.
The retreat area was created by a boutique resort designer out of Dallas and has spa yurts, covered yoga platform, open-air platforms for events, as well as a seasonal horse trough pool. The water is sourced from a 800' deep third Trinity well which means it is artesian water- clean and pure.
